Eagles News · Dear Northeast Students, Faculty and Staff: I Want To Take A Moment To Send Out A Message That I Have Accepted A Teaching Position At Crofton HS For Next School Year. I Have Attached A Letter Of Thanks And Gratitude In This Post. -Mr. Stedman

To our Northeast Community,
It is with a bit of sadness and a bit of pride that I announce that Mr. Tim Stedman will be leaving Northeast High to assume a role as Physical Education Dept chair at the new Crofton High School. He has been the Asst AD and Athletic Academic Advisor for the past 7 years at Northeast. His assistance in growing our athletic program to the prominence it has achieved will not be forgotten and we wish him all the best as he will be missed.
Attached is a letter from Mr. Stedman.

Athletic Director
Northeast High School

To My Northeast Family,

I wanted to take a moment to send out a message that I have accepted a teaching position at Crofton High School starting in the 2020/2021 school year. This decision did not come easy. My new position will allow me more time with my family and the opportunity to teach at the same school where my daughter will attend.

I have been so blessed to have had the chance to work in such an amazing community with amazing students, staff, and administrators over the years. I will cherish all the memories that we have shared over the years.  I am often reminded of a great memory or two every now and then when I run into a former student or co-worker.

Northeast has been a part of my life since 1999 when I first walked through the doors as a coach and teacher. To my students and student-athletes; past and present. You have taught me so much. I can only hope that I have taught you half as much as you have taught me. I will always be your number one fan!

Northeast High School and community will always have a special place in my heart. The friendships that I have made over the years are more like family. I will miss those Friday mornings at 3 B’s Diner, getting my classes to listen to my famous music playlists, celebrating successes, helping to lift spirits when we fall, and so much more. Thank you for allowing me to teach, coach, mentor, and be a part of the Northeast Family.  I will do my best to bring that same family atmosphere and energy to Crofton High School.

I would love for some of you to drop a fun memory of our time together at Northeast.

Sincerely,

Tim Stedman
