The bigs did a great job playing strong defense, fronting the post, and boxing out. The guards did a great job on defense as well doubling down in the post and pressuring the ball handlers. Northeast came out strong and fast controlling the tempo with our press and ball pressure. Northeast was able to coast to a 20 point halftime lead. In the second half Northeast was able to take care of the ball, and continued to control the pace slowing the ball down a lot in the fourth quarter. Northeast is now in the third round of the playoffs (sweet 16) and will face Number 1 Seed JM Bennett of Salisbury MD. The game will be played Wednesday March 6th, 5 pm at JM Bennett. We would love to see our fans come out to support us as we try and make it to the final 8 and Regional finals.
